Naas Town Hall, Kildare

Units in production for this project which will see a £5.9 Million design and construction fit-out to transform Naas Town Hall into a new state of the art library. This 1792 building will now go through the renovation stage which also includes the upgrade of the old sash windows, but as a protected structure it must be ensured that the old style of window is kept in the original style. This plan was first mooted six years ago after the dissolution of Naas Town Council left the Town Hall without a primary purpose for the first time in over 200 years.

This project will provide 2,046 sqm of cultural and community public realm space in the heart of the town, with 1,275 sqm of this indoors, and 770 sqm outdoors. The new library will be able to provide all the usual services and more, including a multifunctional children’s library which will provide various media and also provide wet facilities for cultural activities, IT services, access to digital technologies, console stations and a toddler-storytelling zone.

All new windows must comply with conservation area guidelines and our Slim-Glaze brand of double-glazing has been the number one brand choice to complete these projects and fulfil the requirements set by planning officers.
